SEGA Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the free “Fishing Update” for the cozy survival game “Outbound,” developed by Square Glade Games for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, and Nintendo Switch™.
The “Fishing Update” adds a new activity: a fishing system. You can enjoy fishing in all the ponds, lakes, and oceans on the map using fishing rods you’ve crafted yourself. The fish you catch can be displayed in aquariums that can be placed in your camper. You can collect all 32 types of fish, which are categorized by level, making exploration in the game even more enjoyable.
In addition to the aquarium, more customization options for the camper van have been added, with six types of stairs and four types of doors now available to craft.

We’ve released a roadmap outlining future updates for Outbound. This update will include the introduction of fishing, the appearance of diverse wildlife, and many other elements to enrich your survival experience. Updates are planned seasonally, so please look forward to them!
