PICA Co., Ltd., a member of the Fujikyu Group (headquartered in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture), will hold its first ever experiential camping event, “FUN-tastic! CAMP 2026,” at the outdoor resort “PICA Fuji Saiko” in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, on October 24th (Sat) and 25th (Sun), 2026. A pre-event party will be held on the day before, October 23rd (Fri), to build excitement for the opening of the event.
This event is a participatory camping event that embodies PICA’s new brand tagline, “FUN-tastic! Let’s create the next kind of fun.” The name “FUN-tastic!” combines “Fun” and “Fantastic,” reflecting PICA’s desire to “create excitement through play.” The entire campsite will be transformed into a “playground,” featuring a variety of content including exhibits from outdoor manufacturers and local businesses, food trucks, craft workshops, nature experiences such as canoeing, trekking, and mountain biking, and live performances by artists.
Through these diverse activities, visitors can enjoy playing in the lake and forest, engaging in crafting, and immersing themselves in music around a bonfire, making the most of PICA Fuji Saiko’s unique location. This event is perfect for everyone, from those who regularly enjoy the outdoors to camping beginners, families, and groups of friends. ■Participatory event where the entire campsite becomes a playground
“FUN-tastic! CAMP 2026” is a participatory event where the entire campsite becomes a playground. For two days, you can fully enjoy the nature of Lake Saiko through a variety of activities such as outdoor experiences, music, crafts, and food. A playground where everyone, from camping beginners to families, can freely enjoy themselves awaits.
■Outdoor equipment manufacturers, local businesses, and food trucks
The venue will feature booths from outdoor manufacturers and local businesses, offering opportunities to discover the latest camping gear and experience the unique charm of the region. The PICA booth will offer easy-to-participate experiential activities, delivering the fun unique to a campsite. Food trucks and booths will also be offering craft beer, game dishes, freshly baked pizza, and more, enhancing the outdoor atmosphere.
■ Craft Workshop
We offer a variety of craft workshops, including making items using leather and natural wood, as well as kalimba making and mini harmonica playing experiences in the forest. You can enjoy a time of “making things” that will captivate both children and adults, as you work with natural materials and create your own original piece.
■ Nature experiences utilizing lakes and forests
We offer a wide variety of activities that take advantage of PICA Fuji Saiko’s rich natural environment, including pickleball, canoeing, forest trekking, fishing, and mountain biking. Enjoy unique outdoor experiences that can only be found here, set against the backdrop of the lake and forest. Get active in nature and experience the charm of Lake Saiko.
■Stage live performances featuring bonfires and music
In the evenings, we’ll host live stage performances by artists and DJs at the campsite surrounded by nature. The special time spent listening to music around a bonfire is a unique highlight of this camping event. Enjoy activities in nature during the day, and then relax at night surrounded by a bonfire and music – we’ll deliver a moment where nature and music truly merge.
