
A small aircraft veered off the runway while attempting to land at Narita Airport. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The aircraft is currently stopped off the runway. Shortly after 1 PM on the 16th, Narita Airport contacted the fire department reporting that a small aircraft had “overrunned” while attempting to land. According to the fire department and other sources, there were three people on board, but none were injured.
Around 1 PM on the 16th, a small aircraft attempting to land at Narita Airport overran the runway near the grass on the west side of Runway A. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s Narita Airport Office, the aircraft was a HondaJet. There were three people on board, and no injuries were reported. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the police, a private jet that had landed on Narita Airport’s Runway A at around 1 PM was blown off the runway by strong winds. There were three people on board, but none were injured. Runway A is currently closed for inspection.
