The One about the AULA F75 75%, Gasket Hot Swappable Custom Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

In my many years of reviewing mechanical keyboards, AULA is a brand that is on top of the budget keyboard category. And in the past, most of the mechanical keyboards were of the cheaper under $40 pricepoint.

That was a few years ago and AULA has pretty much since re-positioned its brand of not just making affordable mechanical keyboards but making darn awesome keyboards in general.

Today, I am reviewing the AULA F75 75%, Gasket Hot Swappable Custom Wireless Mechanical Keyboard and if you were to do research the keyboard, it also goes by the name EPOMAKER x AULA F75.

When you hear the word gasket structure, this is becoming the big standard for $75-$125 mechanical keyboards which is suitable for comfort and also helps reduce fatigue during prolonged use.

In addition, with gasket structured mechanical keyboards they are slightly thicker (and heavier) as they feature multi-layer sound and shock-absorbing internal design. For the AULA F75, it includes two layers of Poron foam, IXPE switch pad, PET sound enhancement pad and a bottom silicone pad.

So, for this glacial blue/white keyboard, It’s no doubt sleek with its white, dark blue and light blue keycaps. It also comes in different colors such as Sea Salt Blue (light pastel blues), Green (Green, blue and taupe) and black (black, dark blue and yellow).

The keycaps are Cherry-profile double-shot PBT keycaps and they are made to stand the test of time against wear.

The keyboard features a gasket structure and is hot swappable. It also comes pre-lubed LEOBOG reaper switches and of course, the keyboard is RGB Backlit (you get 16 RGB modes). The keyboard is also offered with TTC Crescent Switches and LEOBOG Ice Vein Switches.

The keyboard is tri-mode for Bluetooth, 2.4 Ghz and wired compatibility and also has a built-in 4000 mAh battery.

Also, what I like about this mechanical keyboard and it’s a feature that I want on all mechanical keyboards that I use and that is a multimedia control knob on the right. May it be for volume settings or other settings that benefits my work flow.

For the most part, I really do like the sound and it’s not so loud but not so quiet, just right in the middle. The mechanical keyboard so far has been ultra responsive and has low latency (with 1000hz Pooling Rate). In addition, AULA used a scientific ladder-type keycap arrangement to prevent fatigue.

Last but not least, while the F75 is a 75% keyboard, there are a total of 80 keys. 2.4 USB receiver is docked in the rear of the keyboard and the keyboard does have elevation legs (actually dual kickstands which was nice to see).

The AULA F75 also comes with a USB Type-C cable, 2-in-1 keycap/switch puller and a user manual.

For the most part, I’m quite thrilled to see AULA now using its established brand to make quality keyboards over $75. While the AULA F75 75%, Gasket Hot Swappable Custom Wireless Mechanical Keyboard is priced under $86 (Note: Aula Gear and even the EPOMAKER site offer this for much cheaper).

Overall, in this competitive market among gasket mounted mechanical keyboards, the AULA F75 75%, Gasket Hot Swappable Custom Wireless Mechanical Keyboard is definitely impressive in terms of quality and performance.  Recommended!
