The One about the KRAKEN Keyboards – STEALTH EDITION Keycaps

I am currently customizing my own gasket mounted mechanical keyboard and needed keycaps, so I decided to try the KRAKEN Keyboards – STEALTH EDITION Keycaps.

There were several reasons why I wanted to try this keyboard caps from KRAKEN and I have to say that I really like the look of the STEALTH EDITION which are gray and black keycaps.

They are doubleshot PBT keycaps that will appease those who love customizing their own colors of a mechanical keyboard but I do like the fact that you can see the colors through the keycaps. Many companies use a solid PBT keycap and the LED would be seen below, but this one, it’s great for those who want backlit keycaps, so the letters and numeric keycaps have their LED’s showing through.

The keycaps feature thick keycap walls and for the most part, there is not anything negative for me to say. They are well made and I do believe the under $30 price is customary among other competitors.

And even better, KRAKEN Keyboards offers their keycaps in a wide variety of colors, don’t like black and gray? Then you can get them in red/black, white/blue, white /purple, white/pink, green/black, purple/black or all white.

You do get 110 keycaps, a premium keycap puller, KRAKEN Keyboards sticker and for the most part, the keycaps are well-packaged but I will say that to please do your keycap replacements in an open area because sometimes they can get mixed up or fall, so have good spacing when taking the keycaps out.

Overall, I have no complaints. The KRAKEN Keyboards – STEALTH EDITION Keycaps are well-made, reasonably priced, easy to install and are definitely worth purchasing.
