The One about the Gamalta 36W 24/7 Light Mode Aquarium LED Fish Tank Light

When it comes to aquarium lights, I have invested a lot of money into them in the past.

From lights to satisfy nearly a dozen aquariums I was running, lights for fish, lights for underwater plants, I’ve tried many of them.

But not all lights are built the same. Some are destroyed by moisture, some are destroyed if it barely gets wet, some that overheat and stop working and some that just slowly loses its light effectiveness a year later.

So, I guess you can say I’ve gone through so many lights and now I’m trying out the Gamalta 36W 24/7 Light Mode Aquarium LED Fish Tank Light.

Now, what I like about these LED lights is that it incorporates some of that technology that people are using for their gaming or streaming video blog that lights up in various colors, to aquarium LED’s.

Back then, you were able to get a few colors at most but this allows you to get many colors such as white, red, blue, green, purple, orange and cyan.

Granted, I only stick with the brightest white light which is more important for me and it uses 5730+5050 type lamp beads.

The light has a temperature and fortunately you can set to the correct time easily. The light has a 24/7 natural mode that begins with an orange light at from 6 am to 8 am and then to white light after 8 am and then to blue light from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Personally I run mine only from 7 am to 5 pm.

I like the metal bracket. No longer will I ever use lamps with plastic brackets that break off, I prefer the metal brackets.

But I like the fact that it has a timer, offers various colors, has a metal bracket that is extendable, it’s definitely one of the best aquarium lamps I’ve tested in the past few years. But again, we’ll see how long this LED light lasts.

Right now, five stars, but I will reduce the stars if this thing dies out too quickly.  The Gamalta 36W 24/7 Light Mode Aquarium LED Fish Tank Light is recommended!
