The One about the Burei Stainless Steel Watch

In the past few years, we have started to see watches from China starting to boom in popularity.

Burei watches are known for producing inexpensive watches but also mechanical watches that are fairly inexpensive.

This is my first time reviewing a Burei watch, this one is stainless steel with a light blue face and stainless steel case and banding.

With the size of 42 mm and featuring a  scratch-resistant mineralized crystal lens with a light blue sun pattern dial (In fact, there is no doubt that there is some semblance to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 with its dial) and silver-tone hands (3-hand analog display) and markers and silver printed minute tracks. The watch features a Japanese-quartz movement.  Personally from my experience with other similar watches, I wouldn’t use this watch in a shower or underwater.

Reviewing this watch, I was pretty much captivated by the light blue sunray dial, as I have never worn a burgundy dial before.

For me, there was no need to remove a link on its steel link bracelet with and while it has push dual-side buttons on its clasp, the watch straps clasps on both top and bottom.

I also feel that the steel bracelet enhanced the overall look of the watch and felt just right, no need for me to switch the straps.

Overall, I was quite pleased with the overall quality of this Burei wristwatch.  At under $99, it’s a classy, inexpensive looking watch from Chinese watch company, Burei.  No doubt paying homage to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 at such an inexpensive price.

If you are a watch collector who tends to keep things inexpensive and under $100, definitely give this BUREI Men’s Stainless Steel watch a try!
