I have been using digital meat thermometers for years, but one thing that I love about this EHO meat thermometer is that its waterproof.
While not fully waterproof, it can be submerged in 0.5 meters (20 inches) of water for up to 10 minutes. I have had seen issues where the thermometer gets wet and somehow the digital thermometer dies. So, I needed something waterproof to a point. So, this was a plus.
As for the meat thermometer, it’s 360 degrees for rotation and has a built-in gravity sensor and you can position it in 4 positive directions.
It has a large backlit 1.8 inch display and the price isn’t too bad at $36. It’s a bit more than a basic digital meat thermometer but I like the piece of mind of knowing that if you spill water on it or somehow water gets on it, it won’t die.
The EHO meat thermometer is definitely recommended!
