The One about the Lominie Submersible LED Aquarium Light

One of the things that some aquarium owners who purchased aquarium sets have to deal with is an LED light(s) going bad.

As much I’m a big proponent with aquarium sets because they are great for those who want to own their first or even multiple aquariums but you get so much for your money.

But know that with a lot of these sets, LED lights may go quickly and then you find yourself look for a replacement lid (to find out the company doesn’t sell one).

So, that’s where third party LED lights become important and what I’m going to review next is the Lominie Submersible LED Aquarium Light.

The lights are IP68 Waterproof and is easy to install.

The company sells various sizes at 8 in., 12 in. 16 in. and 20 in.

For those with a 10 gallon tank, you would choose the 16 in. as the 20 inch would be to big to fit inside the aquarium.

But for those who are scared about submersing the LED Aquarium light, then you would need a glass top cover to replace the cover that came with the LED lights and then you can go for the 20 inch, to fit on top of the aquarium glass.

But the Lominie Submersible LED Aquarium Light is made to be submersed and it comes with two suction cups.

You can easily switch to three lighting effects: blue, colored light and blue+colored light and comes with a dimmer.  These come with an auto turn off after 3H, 9H or 12H.

The LED aquarium light competition is numerous, so I would do the research before buying but I will say for what it’s worth, this is a thinner than wider aquarium light and is submersible.

I tend to prefer the wider LED aquarium lights that go on top of the aquarium glass hood because you get a larger covering space of light inside the aquarium, but these aquarium lights are meant to be submersed and I think that is a benefit for those who want those type of LED aquarium lights.

I see no problem with the Lominie Submersible LED Aquarium Light product and I give it a thumbs up!
