The One about the Condition 1 Medium Waterproof Hard Case

I have been looking into Condition 1 cases and as everyone has mentioned, it’s a much cheaper alternative to Pelican cases.

These Condition 1 cases are made of CN-1 resin which is lightweight and are nearly indestructible. They are also IP67 waterproof, dustproof, shock proof, TSA approved and a come with soft pluck foam, so you can easily create your own customized protection.

The cases come in various colors such as orange, beige, army green, yellow and black but also have grooved feet for stacking.

As for how the storage works, on top is foam, but inside are two pluckable foam cases and a thin foam strip.

I have several of these cases and for one of them, for example, I use one of the pluckable foam cases to I put my drill, drill bit case and a screwdriver bit case.  I put the thin non pluckable foam as a divider.  For the second pluckable foam case, I put my drill batteries and other specialized tool bits.  So, everything is organized in my case.

But you can literally pluck the foam to fit anything that can fit within the case (the size is: 17.49 X 11.87 X 6.25).

A big question that many people may wonder is if won can travel overseas with the Condition 1 hardcase.  Especially to transport photography equipment.  Most airlines require your carryon to be 22 x 14 x 9 max (45 linear inches). This case is 17.49 X 11.87 X 6.25 inches (35.61 linear inches), so it is carryon safe.

If you travel, there is an automatic air pressure equalization valve (watertight GORE-TEX valve) which is a plus!

I am getting several of these to keep my power tools and automobile computers protected. I like the idea that the case can protect your belongings if submerged in water for 30 minutes but if anything, I just want a solid case that can take a beating but most importantly, protect my expensive tools and equipment.

I am very pleased with the Condition 1 Medium Waterproof Hard Case and overall, this is a quality product!

Highly recommended!
