The One about Ikuta Shrine in Kobe Part 4 – Ikuta Shrine

As you approach Ikuta Shrine, you start to notice the shrine for its beauty but for me, it was interesting seeing the painting of dog.  This may pertain to last year being the year of the dog but I found that interesting to see.  Also, the number of people in line.

You see lines at Asakusa where it’s crowded but most places, not so much.

The area to the side of the shrine has bamboo plum trees.

But as you look to the left size, there is a pathway which leads to park or forest?  What is it?  Find out in the next blog post of my coverage of the Ikuta Shrine in Kobe!
