My review is for Marc Joseph New York Astoria Buckle Loafer made of 100% leather, rubber sole and features durability and flexibility.
Offered in black or blue with brown, what attracted me to these shoes is the grainy leather, the steel buckle but it looked like the type of shoes that I wanted to wear casually, without being to formal.
The shoes are quite stylish and are well-built and while stylish, there is one thing that those curious about this shoe should know and that is, it runs a little tight. Actually, Marc Joseph New York shoes tend to be a bit tight but fortunately, I have other MJNY shoes and these are not too tight. But I do recommend going a half inch up in size, just for a little cushion. I was able to fit my feet quite well with my dress socks but if you tend to wear thicker, padded socks, then this shoe will be a bit tight, so definitely go up by a half inch.
Overall, I do like the style of the shoe, the craftmanship and the shoes cushioning. If you are looking for a shoe that would be perfectly for formal and casual situations, definitely give the Marc Joseph New York Astoria Buckle Loafer a try!
