In truth, there are pieces in this set that can also be used for freshwater fishing but there are good circle hooks, long shankhooks, jighead hooks, barrel swivesl, beads, floats, you name it!
But of course, if you want to use metal to prevent blue fish from biting on your line, it’s good to see this added but probably you can get by with really tough fluoro or #30 monofilament. There are pieces to create a Sure Catch Fishing Rig for long distance catches such as the barrel swivel to sinker slide to pyramid sinker (wish they included egg sinkers instead but as long as you are not casting on areas with heavy vegetation that will snag).
But overall, this is a solid set, as you get so much for your money for under $33.
