At around 5:30 a.m., a collision occurred between a moving train and a passenger car at a level crossing near Higashi-Fuchu Station on the Keio Line in Fuchu City, Tokyo.
Kansai TV’s “Shunkan LIVE Toretate!” obtained footage taken immediately after the accident, showing the wreckage of the car. The owner of a restaurant whose shop was thrown in front of the car revealed the tense exchange with his regular customers.
