I have written about my positive experiences and the betterment of the quality of Redragon gaming mechanical keyboards.
And the majority of all mechanical keyboards I have reviewed from Redragon in 2021 have been quite positive. But this is my first time reviewing Redragon’s smallest keyboard, which is their Redragon K614 Anivia 60% Ultra Thin Wired Mechanical Keyboard.
This keyboard is very razor thin and features low profile quiet red switches (the switches are at a reduced height to 11mm) featuring ultra think keycaps (50% lower to 4mm) and 8.55mm lite-thin board.
The keyboard is very small, great for those who want to dedicate more space to their mouse movements during gaming and those who do not want a large 101-key keyboard on their desk.
Yes, 40% of the keys are gone but using the Function keys, you can easily use the short cut arrow keys, to insert, delete, page up/down and more.
And Redragon offers software support for macros, key reassignments and RGB lighting solutions.
The software can be downloaded from the Redragon official website.
It’s important to note that it will need a firmware update and your anti-virus software may detect it but will show there is no harm. Once I installed the software, you have three profiles, macros editor and when light is clicked on, you can select from 20 light presets and adjust the brightness and speed and also choose the color.
For the most part, the Redragon K614 Anivia 60% Ultra Thin Wired Mechanical Keyboard is different compared to other keyboards I have used of this sight and I noticed that for me, the reduced height may please some gamers, while some may like theirs not so reduced, when it comes to typing.
For me, it took a while to get used to this keyboard for work, but for the most part, I do like its overall size and many will find the convenience for its red switch quietness and how small the keyboard is overall.
Once again, another quality Redragon mechanical keyboard that I’m going to give five stars!
