I have been using dual air pumps for 10 gallon tanks that are separated from other tanks. Primarily one for an air pump and one for an air stone.
I have had success with using 3W HITOP Dual Outlet Air Pumps and wanted to review their HITOP 4W Powerful Aquarium Dual Port Air Pump.
This is the latest design for HITOP going for a shark like design that was created to help reduce noise including shock absorbers and rubber feet, moving up from 3W to 4W for more power, on/off switch button (which most air pumps do not have), air flow dial and comes with two air stones, t-connector, tube and check valves.
Aesthetics-wise, this shark casing is very cool looking but the addition of the shock absorbers to reduce sound and the fact that they bumped up to 4W for additional power is a major plus.
And also, the price of $18 makes this dual port air pump worth owning.
The HITOP 4W Powerful Aquarium Dual Port Air Pump is highly recommended!
