I’m an angler who is willing to try various type of fishing lures and today, I am reviewing the VATEICO Trolling Tube Fishing Lure.
I’ve never seen a lure like this and I’m all for creativity. But there would be a few things I would change.
So, let’s take a look at what this lure is.
What you have is a very long 2.8 inch (7/0) or 3.74 inch (10/0) very long shank hook with a barrel swivel on the top. A rubber tube (in red, green and purple) are covering the hook, except the point area and right on the bottom of the tub is a flashing teaser that you would often find on rooster tails or sabiki rigs.
You get a total of nine, three of each color and it costs about $13 (for the 7/0 9 pack). You can purchase different packs in 7/0, 10/0 in nine or 18 packs which costs a little more.
So, what would I like to see to improve this fishing lure? First, the colors. I would make have one in chartreuse green, white, black and blue. And that’s pretty much it! I just feel the colors need to be changed.
Also, offer a smaller-sized version of this, which would be something worth checking out.
But overall, it’s no doubt different but it’s a lure that will no doubt be great for freshwater or saltwater.
