I have owned phone tripods before but they were way too short than what I needed. So, I discovered the EUG-PRODUCTS 62″ Phone Tripod & Selfie Stick (P160 Series) and it claims to go up to 62″ inches. Is this legit?
I took it out for fishing (I golf a lot but I fish more these days) and when you open it up from the box, you see something that looks like a selfie stick. And on it is a bluetooth or USB-C wireless remote. Then there is a phone holder which I tested on my Apple iPhone and it worked perfectly.
The tripod extends easily with a press of a button at the bottom.
Now it’s claim to go up to 62″, is it true?
The answer is that yes, it works. It’s telescopic and there are a total of seven rod extensions and it goes high to record not just sporting activities but activities in general. I’m quite impressed because despite each of the seven extensions as it gets thinner and thinner, it’s still stable enough to hold your camera in place without tipping over, granted I am not sure if high wind if it would topple over but for non-high wind activities, it held up perfectly. Even during low-wind, while I was fishing.
I am considering of putting velcro strap tighteners to hold a power bank for the added weight (in case it ends up windy), that I would place near the base area below but also to charge my phone as if I wanted to cover a parade or live event, I could.
But overall, I’m quite impressed with the EUG-PRODUCTS 62″ Phone Tripod & Selfie Stick (P160 Series) and is worth the under $30 price! Recommended!
