You get three tapered lines with a loop. So, these are nine foot but what is 5X? 5X is the sizing standard for the thickness and breaking strength of a line. This is a 4 lb. line and it has a breaking strength of 3.5 x 4.5 pounds. So, knowing this, know that this is for smaller panfish.
So, why use fluoro leader lines, because fluoro is hard to see by fish and despite some places claiming to be invisible to fish, fluoro is less refractive and is great for that purpose and it floats.
So, committed to their product, it’s probably the only company you’ll find on Amazon that stands by their product and says that the carbon wire will turn black after being burned and you can see it in the carbon particles. So, that’s cool to see!
Also, the company stands by their higher abrasion resistance.
