I’m a lure collector/user, may it be frog, crankbait, glidebait, jerkbait, chatterbait, spinbait, top water, swim jig, metal, poppers, you name it, I own something of those lures in my collection.
But when it comes to lures that are nearly a foot long, I haven’t invested in them because they tend to be super expensive and if I cast an expensive lure that snaps and gets in the water, that would literally bum me out.
But with the lures you find on Amazon, getting lures from a non-brand is a way to bypass the expensive pricing. One of those popular non-brands are Luhan, who creates lures for a fraction of the price as branded company lures.
Typically in just a generic packaging (white background with plastic), Luhan lures are among the best you can get on Amazon if you don’t want to spend over $20 on a large lure. In fact, the price point for a lure is around $9-$18 and the quality of these lures are very good.
The LUHAN 10 Inches, 11 Segment Multi Jointed Swimbait Fishing Lures is an extra large lure at 10 inches. It also happens to be multi-jointed with 11 segments.
Typically at this price point of under $17, you can find 7″ and 5″ lures from 1 to 3 segments but to find 11 segments at 10 inches is pretty cool! The more segments, the more a fish can mimic an actual fish.
It is important to note that if 10 inches is too big for you, you can get 7-inches for half the price.
With that being said, please check your laws in your state/region if the treble hooks are allowed. For example, in California, you cannot have a gap greater than 3/4 of an inch. The treble hook on this Luhan lure is about 20mm which is about .78 inches (or .79 if you round it off), so in California, this treble hook would be illegal as it needs to be .75 inches.
Fortunately, the treble hooks are on a metal split ring, so please use a treble hook cover or single hook cover before removing. And you may want to put a single siwash hook, if you don’t want to use a treble hook.
Overall, this is an awesome lure for its price, design quality and make. The LUHAN 10 Inches, 11 Segment Multi Jointed Swimbait Fishing Lures is recommended!
