
A deer that may have come from Nara Park and had been staying on the grounds of a police facility in Osaka City was captured a little after 1 p.m. on the 25th.
According to the Osaka City Health Bureau, the deer will be temporarily protected at the Osaka City Animal Management Center (Osaka One-Nyan Center) in the city.
The deer was found yesterday (24th) at around 6:30 p.m. on the grounds of an Osaka Prefectural Police facility in Osaka City. The deer remained on the grounds this morning (25th), and the Osaka Prefectural Police had requested Osaka City to take action with a view to capturing it.
According to the Osaka Prefectural Police, Osaka City officials captured the deer at around 1:15 p.m. today (25th). Osaka City Mayor Hideyuki Yokoyama posted on his social media that “We have received word that the protection has been completed ( as of 13:40 ).
The individual is safe for now. For the time being, it will be moved to a temporary protection facility in Osaka City.”
