Okuma Fishing is a Taiwan-based company founded in the 1980s that focused on quality and also being one of the few companies that possess both manufacturing and R&D capabilities. By 2010, Okuma has now become one of the top three fishing tackle brands in the world.
They have won awards for their Efftex (Best Rod Award) for their Helios SX Spin but also producing many affordable fishing rods and reels for the budget conscious!
