To commemorate the 10th anniversary of its opening this year, the JP Tower commercial facility “KITTE” is holding various events throughout the year under the theme of “hospitality through music and art”.
The event called “WHITE KITTE” will take place from November 22nd (Wednesday) to December 25th (Monday) to brighten up your Christmas.
The theme of this year’s Christmas event is “10th Anniversary Christmas ~Christmas filled with memories~”. To commemorate KITTE’s 10th anniversary, KITTE has prepared special events and art that will remind you of the 10 years of thoughts and overlaps we have created with everyone.
During the event period, the main tree “White Layer Tree”, approximately 13m long, made from a real fir tree, will appear in the atrium on the first floor . The tree itself continues to change, as if it were alive, and fascinates everyone with its various appearances. With a layer of snow-white strings up to 13 meters high floating in the sky and the light from the annual rings at the base of the tree, we will create a space where you can feel the time that has accumulated over the 10 years since KITTE opened.
Additionally, a sound and light show called “Layers of Illumination Show ~Symphony of Overlapping Lights~” will be held at regular intervals every day during the event. You can enjoy the bright white world unique to “WHITE KITTE” and the glittering world where the “White Layer Tree” shines in vivid colors due to the lighting that accompanies the music . In addition, at the xylophone art set up around the main tree, you can enjoy the experience of playing the official 10th anniversary commemorative song “Serendipity” and Christmas songs by rolling a ball from the top.
Furthermore, on November 30th (Thursday), a special event “WHITE KITTE 10th Anniversary Christmas Kiyozuka Shinya x Hirahara Ayaka Special Stage” will be held. Pianist Kiyozuka Shinya, who wrote the official song “Serendipity” to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the band’s opening , and singer-songwriter Hirahara Ayaka, who is celebrating her 20th anniversary this year, like KITTE, collaborated through “Serendipity”. A one-day special stage will be held where Kiyozuka’s live piano performance will be combined with Hirahara’s deep and calm singing voice.
