The One about the PAIZOO Aquarium Filter, U-V Fish Tank Filter with Timing Function

The PAIZOO Aquarium Filter, U-V Fish Tank Filter with Timing Function is a UV Filter that is made for aquarium tanks in which the tank filter must be submerged.

UV Filters are designed to clear up tanks that have experienced an algae bloom (green water/hard to see) or bacteria bloom (white cloudiness).

This is not going to clean the algae stuck on your glass, nor is it 100% to eliminate certain things, as it must pass through the UV light inside the canister unit.

But it will work as an extra addition to a tank and also adds increased surface agitation.

And last, the filter helps disinfect bacteria from the water, but only if bacteria passes in front of the UV light.

Pretty much the unit is good to go right out of the box.  There are attachments for one’s preference on how to utilize the tank filter. May it be to have an attachment that sprays water out through small nozzles or to have it skim water from the surface.

On top is a turning which controls water flow which comes out of this hole that you can change its direction. The water flow is quite powerful, thus you need a larger tank to accommodate the water flow.

I am hoping that UV tank filters have improved in technology within the last few years. I know that in the past, I have read that there are people who had issues with the pump melting the canister due to the heat of the light, but I haven’t had that issue.

It works as a water agitator, but I put in a tank with cloudiness and haven’t seen a major change, but this is just one part of my filter setup for a large tank.

I’ll continue to leave the PAIZOO Aquarium Filter, U-V Fish Tank Filter in my tank, but as of right now, the pump works in creating water flow for oxygen but in terms of cleaning the tank, I’m not seeing any major changes.
