The XIAOGE Quest 2 Gun Grip Adapters is an interesting concept.
I have been using different adapters for other games (like Beat Saber and another for Golfing) but this is a pistol style of adapter that you slide your Quest 2 controllers and it locks on the back edge.
I tried it on a few VR gun games which I own and while it did work, I did have some problems on games such as “Pistol Whip”. Each time I reloaded my gun (and the game requires a lot of reloading), I would somehow pause the game.
It made it more of a chore to use and felt it was best utilized on games that didn’t require huge thrusting to reload. But I’m sure it’s a subjective situation and I do know there are those who invest in more expensive adapters for their touch controllers.
It’s easy to install, but you want to use adapters if it makes things better and more competitive with certain games. But I think I need a gun adapter that locks the controller in place much better.
For this, it was more of an aesthetic that looks cool but personally for me, it didn’t add much to my gameplay, it kind of hindered it.
The XIAOGE Quest 2 Gun Grip Adapters is a product I really wanted to love but I think if it held the controller and locked it in place much better, I would have felt more comfortable giving it a better rating. But not with this version of it.
