Since 1972, Aldo was founded by a man known as Mr. B (Aldo Bensadoun), who came from a family of shoe merchants, grandson of a cobbler sold shoes at his store in Montreal.
The company has grown since then to become a company which sells affordable shoes worldwide and has attracted a new generation of consumers thanks to their community driven effort on social media, especially on TikTok.
And today, I am checking out the ALDO Men’s Kooperflex Loafer which has an almond toe, is a slip-on and has a flexsole.
The Kooperflex is rather interesting is that it uses a classy style design, keeping it different from the usual black and brown loafer. But these loafers are available in Black and Cognac.
Aldo makes quality, yet inexpensive shoes, so these do feature a rubber flexsole and are truly comfortable. I had no pinching in the toe areas and found these shoes quite comfortable to have on and walk around with it. These are fit-to-size and at under $63.
I’m not going to compare these with my higher priced loafters but for those on a budget, at $63, I’ve been quite pleased with Aldo’s quality for the price.
So, for those wanting an inexpensive loafer that are comfortable, the ALDO Men’s Kooperflex Loafer is recommended.
