The One about Midtown Christmas 2021 announced for November 18th through December 25th

Tokyo Midtown (near Roppongi) has announced their winter illumination event for 2021 and the theme for 2021 is “Vivid” and lighting begins at 5:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m.

Introducing tree illuminations where gold light colors the trees in the city. This year, you can enjoy a new emotional on / off effect and a dimming effect as if the trees resonate with each other every hour.
The brilliant, elegant yet dynamic illuminations attract the hearts of visitors and invite them to a glamorous world. Experience a stroll unique to this time of year in the open Midtown Gardens.

A large snow globe with a height of about 3m and a diameter of about 4.5m appears. This year, in addition to the production of light that traps the beautiful and vivid moments of the four seasons, a special production with a shabon ball that floats like snow will be held for a limited time.

The “mysterious Christmas tree that bares gifts”, which was popular last year, has become even more colorful this year and is now available in Midtown Garden.

A VIVID installation by the creative unit SPREAD (created by creative unit, Kobayashi Hirokazu and Yamada Haruna) appears inside Tokyo Midtown. It is no exaggeration to say that the world is living at the turn of the times with a number of uncertain challenges. Meanwhile, what SPREAD wants to convey is “color is joy.”

“Santa Tree” with a height of about 4m decorated with about 1,800 Santa Claus ornaments. This year too, small Santas will gather in Tokyo Midtown to liven up Christmas.

The event will kickoff on November 18th and will last through December 25th.
