As a person who wears a ton of watches, one thing that I don’t have in my collection is a full skeleton watch.
While Omega and Tissot makes wonderful mechanical skeleton watches, I’m not sure if I would truly like it and so I wanted to give one a try and opted for the much cheaper FORSINING Mechanical Skeleton Octagonal Wrist Watch.
FORSINING is a China-based company. The Guangzhou Ruixue Watch Company Limited (Forsining Watch Company Limited ) is focused on making watches for 20 years and have their own watch factory in Guangzhou, and exporting watch manufacture brands: FORSINING, T-WINNER, JARAGAR, JIAXIN watches.
And for the FORSINING brand, their skeleton watch is among their top sellers.
Priced at under $39, the FORSINING Automatic Mechanical Skeleton Octagonal Wrist Watch features a stainless steel band and an octagonal design, the watch is polished and brushed and the watch itself, features a true skeletal features for its face and also the back of the watch, which features sapphire glass.
The hands are luminous but
Now, while the watch is waterproof up to 30M, I’m a big proponent to never swimming or showering with a watch.
Now, one thing that I like is that this is a mechanical watch. Most mechanical watches are expensive and typically watches under $60 are battery operated but this is a mechanical watch in which it goes by hand movement.
The stainless steel watch band is 8.26 inches and for the most part, the watch has been working well, but I am curious to see how this movement works overtime.
As mentioned, I own many watches from high-priced luxury watches to cheaper watches. For me, this watch has a skeletal face that I absolute love looking at. I like watching the balance wheel in the 6 o’clock position. The octagonal bezel is different and the fact that this watch stands out compared to other watches in my collection, I like that.
It’s important to note that I’m not familiar with the FORSINING brand, but it comes in a gift box, cleaner and even watch band tool, which is a major plus. To say it mildly, you are getting a lot of bang for your buck for this inexpensive, yet awesome skeletal mechanical watch.
So, we’ll see how this watch does overtime. It it fails, I will definitely update this review.
Overall, the FORSINING Automatic Mechanical Skeleton Octagonal Wrist Watch is great for those who are looking for a skeletal watch but don’t want to spend a fortune on one. This is an awesome watch and for its price and presentation, I give it five stars!
