The One about the Bog Street ACOUSTIX Phosphor Bronze Bright Light (11-50) Acoustic Guitar Strings

Today I am reviewing the Bog Street ACOUSTIX Phosphor Bronze Bright Light (11-50) Acoustic Guitar Strings.

For those not familiar, Bog Street is known for their guitar picks but they are now getting into guitar strings and I have reviewed their ELECTRIX electric guitar strings and now I’m checking out their ACOUSTIX acoustic guitar strings.

These strings are made with high-carbon steel core strings featuring hex-wound phosphor blend to create a warm tone, sustain and projection and are available in  available in UltraLight (10/48), Bright Light (11/150), and Medium (12/54).  Like their ELECTRIX strings, the package comes with strings with a Bog Street sticker.

I chose to review the Bright Light as I wanted a happy medium that would allow for a mix of strumming and fingerpicking.

I was quite impressed by the overall sound which are no doubt smooth, not stiff and the overall tone is bright.  It’s no doubt a different feel compared to the Earthwood 80/20 strings I have been using and I really like the overall tone.

Overall, I do like the ACOUSTIX Phosphor Bronze Bright Light (11-50) Acoustic Guitar Strings a lot but we’ll see how these strings work out overtime. If anything changes, I’ll update this review.

But for now we’ll see how they work out for a longer period of time! Especially to make sure these do not corrode overtime!

The Bog Street ACOUSTIX Phosphor Bronze Bright Light (11-50) Acoustic Guitar Strings gets a thumbs up!
