The One about Celebrating Tokyo Midtown Hibiya’s First Anniversary

I have a lot of photo content to share on my blog from Japan, but as travel has been suspended for us Americans to visit Japan, I’ve been spreading travel posts from daily to weekly because I’m not sure how long this will last.

So, for today’s post, I am going to write about Tokyo Midtown Hibiya‘s first year anniversary.

I absolutely love Tokyo Midtown in the Roppongi area but in March 2018, another Tokyo Midtown was revealed in the Yurakucho area in Chiyoda, Japan.

Right next to Hibiya Park, Tokyo Midtown is known for its office, commercial, dining and entertainment activities and in 2019, they celebrated their first year anniversary.

One was having a big red “1” in front of the entrance but also having this interesting flower garden right out front.

As you can see from the photos, various types of flowers with vials of water can be seen.  It was no doubt a popular attraction because it’s different from your usual flower garden that you see in Tokyo.

It’s a circular structure, with artificial grass and all around are actual flowers, inside a vial of water and hung on a string.

It was no doubt a creative section to celebrate the first year anniversary of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya.
