In 2020, during the Pandemic, working and staying at home, I had the chance to do a lot of aquascaping and for a year, I did great and it was a great stress reliever. But once we had to go back to the workplace, my time to focus and work on aquascaping had changed.
But I started to know my java moss and other plants started to lose its greenery even with CO2 and fertilizer. And when the plants died, especially if you have such a large aquarium, it becomes too much to handle and can change the chemistry of your water and a hassle to clean. It can also harm your fish.
Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to aquascape but I do keep up with water changes and while I miss my live plants, I have since changed over to decoration plants such as the Supyouleg Aquarium Plants.
You get five small decorative plants, three mid-size decorative plants and one large decorative plant (Note: The large decorative plant is better for larger tanks but you can clip the plastic plant stems if needed).
Each of the plants have a hardened ceramics, which helps the decorative plant stand up straight, and due to the heavy base, it will not float in the water.
If I had any problems, three of the small plants (they are very similar), one had stems that got tangled with another and the only option was to tug and remove them.
But other than that, the Supyouleg Aquarium Plants are recommended!
