As a person who is dependent on lighting for photographer or video work, the VIJIM VL120 Portable LED Camera Light is something that I wanted for a lot of my event photography work.
It’s important to note that when I travel overseas, I am no longer bringing my DSLR’s, camera lights and many camera lenses because certain countries require so much walking and the weight is just too much, so I now rely on high end portable cameras but using a portable light for photography at events.
I would often carry a portable light, but they would become bulky because they required a battery pack or many AA batteries.
For this portable light, you get a camera light that has a built-in 3100mAh battery, has a 2500-9000K LED Video Light and various color modes.
So, this light gives you a lot of potential for not just adjustable lighting but lighting in different colors and effects, which other LED lights were not able to do.
Recharging is easy, uses a USB-C and takes 2.5 hours to charge and works for 180 minutes. Has a 1/4 expansion screw hole, so you can attach a mini tripod.
Easy to use, power button and brightness adjustment dial and a mode adjustment dial.
But what I like about it is that its small and can easily fit into your bag, not so bulky like my other two portable LED lights and this makes it more convenient to travel with.
I definitely love this light and am looking forward to using it again once events and conventions start back up again!
