The AquaMiracle Lithium Battery Powered Portable 2-Outlet Air Pump for Aquariums is something that I wish I had months ago.
Most recently, we had a small power outage that left my largest aquarium without oxygen and I lost a lot of my fish which I have raised since they were babies and now I’m left with barely anything but a few, which are the little platy juveniles just born several weeks ago and a few cory’s.
It’s a heartbreaking experience to lose your fish like that and I’ve learned that I needed something like the AquaMiracle Lithium Battery Powered Portable 2-Outlet Air Pump for Aquariums.
The primary thing is that if the power goes out, then the pump will will run on battery power.
The flow rate is 48GPH (180LPH), air pressure is 0.015MPa and according to the company it’s good for 2-60 gallon aquariums. The device comes with 2 airline tubing, 2 airstones, 2 check valves and 1 T valve.
My purpose for using this is for one purpose, as an energy backup to provide oxygen for my fish. So, I use the accompanying tubes and airstones and have it in my large aquarium. Yes, I have a HOB, I have a few large sponge filters but I don’t want to lose fish through a backup.
It comes with a USB plug adapter which powers the unit, but let’s say the battery is about to die out because the power outage is going longer, then you can use a battery backup. But fortunately you wouldn’t have to worry as the unit uses a 2600mAh capacity which can support the air pump to run for 20 hours continuously and when on power consumption mode, when activated, the lithium power can last for 30 hours.
It’s very quiet and for how well it works, the AquaMiracle Lithium Battery Powered Portable 2-Outlet Air Pump for Aquariums is highly recommended!
