I have tried coffee from all over the world. I travel to countries to try coffee and I have tried coffee at all price points.
But one thing I haven’t tried….coffee from Mexico.
And I came across the Caffenio 100% Arabica Ground Coffee. While I prefer dark roasted, complex coffee beans over ground coffee, I wanted to give this medium roast coffee a try.
And for the most part, this ground coffee was mild and not complex but not sure if it was because of its expiration date. Wish I received something roasted a month or a few months rather than a year.
I’m not going to be hardcore critical because I know many people love Caffenio coffee which is from the jungled hills of Hidalgo, Oaxaca, so perhaps I’ll come back to it at another time. But I want to make sure I get coffee that is not close to the expiration date. I received it on April 30th and it expires on May 5, 2021 (and it shows as being roasted on May 5, 2020), so hopefully others are not receiving close to expired coffee.
