The One about being a WIZ*ONE and how IZ*ONE’s Day One of their final concert hit me hard!

I have written about IZ*ONE on my blog, reviewed their music and Blu-rays, wrote many articles and needless to say that since “Produce48” aired on Korea, I have supported this global girls group even though I knew that there contract was only for 2.5 years.

My heart hurts because after what was a successful 2018-2019, WIZ*ONE lost nearly three months due to the “Produce 101” scandal and once the group did return in February 2020, the novel coronavirus pandemic hit the world and my plans to see them again live at a concert was dashed but I still took comfort because 2020, the group managed to become one of the successful girl’s group in K-Pop history in terms of albums sold.

I kept telling myself in October 2020, I wonder if the group will get a contract extension but unfortunately, it’s not up to just the members, their respective management/offices have to agree but it didn’t happen that way.

Seeing their goodbye’s for the first day of their concert was heartbreaking…and I can’t imagine how day two will be.

But it hurts that IZ*ONE wasn’t able to perform on stage with a live audience, due to the pandemic.  To see their fans, WIZ*ONE and receive the proper sendoff they deserve.  That hurts and you can see from their first day concert goodbye, how devastated they are by it and also for the fact, April is their final month together.

I’m sad….this hits me hard!

I absolutely loved following IZ*ONE, being a WIZ*ONE fan and watching each video of the members or member on shows and for them bringing happiness into my life.

I bought every album (versions), photobooks, Blu-rays, you name it.  And I’m proud to say, that I am a WIZ*ONE and how much I will miss this group.
