I have utilized numerous types of gravel cleaners and the fact that I have many aquariums, wanting to maintain a clean environment for my fish is important.
The Wadoy 5-in-1 Fish Tank Cleaner, Aquarium Gravel Cleaner Kit is rather interesting because it’s not one where you need to bend the tube, there is no squeeze pump but this version requires pushing the air pressure valve.
And I will say that of all gravel cleaners I own, I found this one to be so easy to use and less gravel/sand being sucked into the cleaner, which has been an issue for me (as I use sand-like gravel).
You get a scraper head if you want to scrape algae or gunk off your aquarium glass, water exchange, sandwashing, fouling and more.
But really, my main interest was one thing and that is gravel cleaning using this push mechanism. And sure enough, it worked remarkably well. I was quite impressed.
No major messes, just make sure the plastic pipe and everything else is held tightly into place and you’re good go. Easy to assemble, easy to use and if you have used a gravel vacuum, this is no-brainer. It’s really easy to use.
