The One about the TUFF Face Masks

When it comes to cloth-based face masks, there are certain things I look for:

  • Ear Loops – For adjusting
  • Size – Not small and can cover your nose up to under your chin.
  • Filter Pocket – The ability to include a carbon filter (ie. PM2.5).

The TUFF Face Masks adjusts all three of these needs.

They are made of 100% cotton material and unlike my other masks, these kind of remind me like sweat pant material but I will say these are well stitched and are well-made.

Now, as for the filter, it’s important to note that the insert pocket is one sided, not both, so it can’t be easily adjusted from both sides.  Also, you will need an extra large filter, not a standard PM2.5.  So, you may want to look at the Non-Woven XL filters. PM2.5 filters do work but they would be a bit small.

Overall, I do like the TUFF Face Masks for those who want a slightly larger 100% cotton mask that has great face coverage, allows for a filter and also adjustable ear loops.  Recommended!
