The One about the L’OR Espresso Pods Decaffeinato Ristretto

I came across the L’OR Espresso Pods Decaffeinato Ristretto which is to be used with NESPRESSO Original machines (not compatible with Vertuo) and comes with a pack of 50 capsules in five boxes.

Similar to my NESPRESSO capsules, these are also aluminum capsules to preserve freshness.

The L’OR Espresso Pods Decaffeinato Ristretto is my first venture of trying anything made on my NESPRESSO Original Machine that is not NESPRESSO coffee and my first time trying L’OR.

L’OR was created in France back in 1992 and the company’s ambition is to offer the best coffee in the world.  Their coffee features Arabica and Robusta beans which are hand selected by L’OR roasters.

The version I’m trying is Ristetto (a very short espresso, in which it’s served as half a cup, while Expresso (extracted by pressure) are offered in the same cup but much higher.  Lungo (long coffee) is made with twice as much water running through the same amount of coffee as espresso and is more intense.

And for each, L’OR offers different versions but the L’OR Espresso Pods Decaffeinato Ristretto… I have to say, this coffee was delicious!  Nutty, intense and spicy but just right!  I like it a lot!

The L’OR Espresso Pods Decaffeinato Ristretto is rated at the intensity of 9 and features a woody aroma with a note of toasted almonds and topped by a fine golden mousse layer.

Highly recommended!
