Abbot Kinney Apothecary is a company which crafts its hair products in Los Angeles.
The company sells two products, their Men’s 3-in-1 Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash and their Beard Oil.
I’m reviewing the Tea Tree Men’s 3-in-1 Shampoo (also available is their Energizing Citrus and Wood Reserve) fragrance, all which features moisturizing with Aloe Vera and Shea Butter.
You typically don’t see 3-in-1 products, but you have the Abbot Kinney Apothecary Men’s 3-in-1 Shampoo, Conditioner and Bodywash which comes in a pretty big bottle at 32 fl. oz. for under $12!
The shampoo is cruelty free, paraben free and for the most part, it’s a solid product.
While the Tea Tree is different from my other (more pricier Tea Tree) products in terms of scent, the scent is not so strong on this shampoo which is probably a good thing for some people.
I think the fact that it’s a shampoo with a pump makes it easier not to overuse the product and the fact you get a big bottle for $12 is a major plus.
I have no major complaints and it’s important to note that the makers do emphasize the product is formulated by men but I don’t think it’s going to hurt either way if the family uses it but the scent is masculine but it does work very well.
