The One about the Fara Coffee (Signature Roast, Ground)

Fara Coffee is a company based which produces and exports shade-grown, hand picked gourmet coffee.  The company has been growing 100% SHG Arabica coffee beans on their family-owned farms in the mountainous rainforest of Matagalpa, Nicaragua for five generations.

The company is also environmentally sensitive that through the Fara Foundation, they give 100% of their proceeds back to the people of Nicaragua via to healthcare, food assistance, education and elder care and even prioritized Rainforest Alliance certification to reinforce their aim to protect healthy soils, rivers and wildlife and promote dignified living conditions for farm workers and neighboring rural communities.

And I am reviewing their Fara Coffee (Signature Roast, Ground) which is a medium roast blend from Nicaragua and Sumatra, Indonesia.  Beans are from the mountain regions of 2,500-5,000 ft. and were roasted via a drum method.

I make mine via a French Press and it’s a coffee that I found to be delicious, rich, aromatic and bold.  Earthy, spicy and delicious!

I’m just learning more about Fara Coffee and this is the first I have tried, but because of their dedication to helping the people of Nicaragua and giving back to the community but also being environmentally conscious and getting certification to reinforce that, I’m giving the Fara Coffee (Signature Roast, Ground) five stars!
