When I first started playing “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”, my first ten villagers (aside from me) in my island I named “Ikebukuro” were:
- Reneigh (Riana in Japan) – Horse – Personality: Sisterly
- Billy (Ashindo in Japan) – Goat – Personality: Jock
- Chevre (Yuki in Japan) – Goat – Personality: Normal
- Flora (Furara in Japan) – Ostrich – Personality: Peppy
- Jacob (Jakoten in Japan) – Bird – Personality: Lazy
- Ken (Kurobe in Japan) – Chicken – Personality: Smug
- Spike (Sukuwatto in Japan) – Rhino – Personality: Cranky
- Maelle (Annu in Japan) – Duck – Personality: Snooty
- Puck (Hokke in Japan) – Penguin – Personality: Lazy
- Norma (Isako in Japan) – Cow – Personality: Normal
My villagers have changed as I got rid of two and possibly am going to get rid of a third.
The first was seeing how both Ken and Billy were not getting along. Billy is a jock and all he does is work out and Ken made fun of Billy and from then on, these two didn’t get along.
This was my first regret, because I got rid of Ken. Usually, when you stop talking to a villager, they will want to leave but I’m not sure if it was the bickering but Ken wanted to leave. So, I allowed it and then I regretted it minutes later because Ken was the primary character that had a Japanese interior. I tried talking to him as he was packing to see if I could convince the character to stay, but too late.
He was gone and then I had to decide which camper to allow in…I ended up replacing Ken with Gaston (Mosakichi in Japan), who is a rabbit with a mustache and his personality is cranky.
I didn’t expect a guest come in so quickly to visit the campsite not long after I got Gaston and it was Pietro (Jupetti in Japan), the clown sheep who is smug. Pietro said he’ll never give up, so I wanted to get rid of another character, Gaston (not long after getting him) or Spike.
I then discovered Animal Crossing Portal and saw their top tier list of Animal Crossing characters. Currently, the top 15 characters that people want are:
- Raymond
- Marshal
- Sherb
- Zucker
- Jdy
- Marina
- Beau
- Stitches
- Bob
- Ankha
- Roald
- Audie
- Coco
- Fauna
- Merengue
I decided to get rid of Billy as he really did nothing but run around and talk about his muscles and didn’t really talk to the other villagers. And as for running around, Reneigh and Flora does a lot of that, so I wouldn’t be missing Billy all that much.
And after kicking him out…a villager I never even met once in an island or campsite moved into Billy’s lot and it was the biggest surprise… Raymond.
UPDATE:
I decided to get rid of Gaston….and his replacement…Sprocket. Yikes! This one looks mean….
