The One about Shirokuma Cafe (Polar Bear’s Cafe) in Takadanobaba Part 1: Front Lobby
In part 1, we took at the lobby at Shirokuma Cafe (Polar Bear’s Cafe) in Takadanobaba.
But now is the best part, the delicious parfait or food that one can order from the shop.
Before you seated, you can see Panda and Penguin sitting near the front.
When you are seated, they will give you a free coaster as a gift. Food menu will be given to you. From food or sundays, you do have a variety of options.
I have to say that among the niche cafe/restaurants that I have been to, Shirokuma Cafe is the best. You literally get your money’s worth, especially with the parfaits.
I happen to get the Grizzle’s Chocolate Parfait which was absolutely delicious. The majority of all the parfaits sold are around Y780.
If anything, you can’t help but feel how awesome this niche cafe is.
There are a plethora of cafe based on anime/manga in Japan and as mentioned in my last blog post, there are only few that have operated more than a month, more than a year, let alone several years. Shirokuma Cafe (Polar Bear’s Cafe) and Gundam Cafe are among the few that continue to bring fans from all over the world and it each time I go, it’s a positive experience.
