For those looking for a more fancier experience for cherry blossoms, I recommend visiting Tokyo Midtown (Roppongi/Akasaka area).
As the place is absolutely lively during the Christmas time, it’s just as lovely during the cherry blossom weeks. The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo tends to have a CHANDON Blossom Lounge at the Tokyo Midtown Gardens which features fancy meals/drinks and dome tents (which go for Y9000 for 90 minutes), this was held last year on March 15 to April 14th – Once it’s announced, I’ll post a link with information.
On the opposite end is Hinokicho Park, where people also kick back for Hanami. Also, for cherry blossoms, the Sakura pastries offered each spring at Maison Kayser (inside Tokyo Midtown first floor next door to Dean & Deluca) is a must!
