For the past few weeks, I have been playing “Just Dance 2020” which was first released for the Nintendo Wii in 2009. And every year since then, there has been a release of “Just Dance” game.
The game was released for the Nintendo Switch, Wii, PlayStation 4, XBOX One and Stadia.
The game retains the same goal of players having to mimic the onscreen dancer’s choreography, as if looking into the mirror. I am reviewing the PS4 version and you can use the Playstation Camera, Playstation Move or the Just Dance app on your smartphone.
My goal of “Just Dance” games are pretty much for cardio and to mix it up with my workout throughout the week and I’m having a lot of fun.

But you get a free 30-day trial of “Just Dance Unlimited”, a subscription-based service for accessing a library of past, present and whatever new songs are offered on the service featuring over 500 songs.
The price on the PlayStation store is $30.99 for one year, $12.49 for three months, $4.99 for 30 days, $3.79 for a 24-hour pass.
For me, it was great to see 2NE1, TWICE & BLACKPINK added, to add to the list of K-Pop songs featured on “Just Dance”, but you’ll definitely want to try “Just Dance Unlimited” to access a lot of the songs.
As for gameplay, there is Kids (featuring “Just Dance” song for children”), “Just Dance” and “All Stars”.
The middle portion allows one to compete in the “World Dance Floor”, Access their “Just Dance” songs including Unlimited and where people can open up avatars, stickers, skins, titles, etc. (you get points/coins which you can spend after each successful win).
All-Star Mode celebrates the 10 years of “Just Dance” as you visit each planet and you can open up various songs. So this is a quick and fun addition to the game.

But overall, I love UBISOFT’s “Just Dance 2020” and may you play it to dance, to compete or for cardio, it’s a game worth owning if you love to dance!
