The One about the LEGO DC Batman Batmobile: Pursuit of The Joker 76119

2019 is the 80th anniversary of Batman and LEGO is paying their respect to the caped crusader with several LEGO sets which include the Batmobile, the Batwing, the Batcave, the Batcycle and more.

With the release of the LEGO Batman Batmobile: Pursuit of the Joker (76119), we get two minifigures: Batman (black and grey uniform) and The Joker (with purple outfit, but unlike the past, this has an orange bowtie, red shirt and green sleeves) and as for the Batmobile, this one is much different from the past.

In the past for LEGO Batmobiles, 6864 which featured flickfire missles and came with Batman, Two-Face, two henchman and a guard, while 7781 featured a Batmobile with a rocket in the front and came with Batman and Two-Face, 7784 was the Batmobile: Ultimate collector’s Edition with no minifigure but the vehicle itself and the last was 76012 which featured Batman, The Flash and Riddler and a drag racing Batmobile. Since then, releases have been mini-Batmobiles and the Batmobile from the classic series.

In 2019, we have 76119, Batmobile (Pursuit of Joker) and this is an all new Batmobile. For one, you have two cannons on the side that can shoot studs, a spinning flame when the car rolls forward and for the most part, it’s a very cool looking Batmobile.

I love the Batman rims with the yellow and black, the bat on the front and the rear, and Joker has his stud shooter as well. While Batman, comes with numerous bat accessories.

There are about 342 pieces and is for ages 7+. It’s not a difficult vehicle to put together, especially compared to the 2006 Batmobile: Ultimate Collector’s Edition (7784) which was a bit more advanced and was over a 1,000 pieces.

But I have to say for look and functionality, Batmobile (Pursuit of Joker) is my favorite Batmobile yet.
