The One about Completing the Japan Bucket List Challenge 2019

Greetings everyone!

I’m back home!  Granted, I am jet lagged and sleep is going to be a challenge for a shortwhile, but after a month in Japan, it was another incredible adventure.

But what made this adventure even more memorable are the wonderful people I met along the way.

I am surprised of how much I was able to accomplish but the things I did, while awesome of a time, it also was my most unhealthy.

As many of you know, I don’t eat certain foods, I don’t eat much sugar, flour-based foods or meat, but because there were bucket list challenges that were set in 2015 prior to my healthy lifestyle change, but part of the challenge was taking on bucket list things I have planned from 2015-2018.  So, there was no going back…I had to go through with it.

And of course, I had gluten allergies that made my face puffy… But I’m glad I was able to do all of these things I planned and complete them.

For the most part, there was no real negatives I had on this latest adventure but I will say that I do worry about Japan during Tokyo Olympics 2020.  The rudeness by foreigners that I witnessed on the train and shinkansen was more than I have ever experienced in the past number of years. It’s one thing to be loud and obnoxious but to see people bring that rudeness to another country and being disruptive without a care, is a bit upsetting.

But for the most part, I look forward to the next adventure and it’s good to be back and finally update this blog!
