The One about My Japan Trip ~Spring 2019~

Hi everyone!

In the next few hours, I will be on an airplane off to Japan.

I know a lot of people (including friends) have asked “Japan again?”.  And it’s understandable.  For me, I love Japan, maybe not enough to move there but I love going on vacation because everything in life that I enjoy (pop culture wise), it’s over there.

But even I know that there are many places to visit, so hence the reason why I wanted to do something special this time around.

With that being said, I just want to let everyone know how much I appreciate you visiting this site and I will do what I can to post from Japan.  While I keep saying I will in previous trips, it’s actually quite difficult as I’m out early and I get back so late and I just want to sleep and I’m back on my feet the following morning for another adventure.

With this trip, while I will be doing many of the things on my bucket list, I am reserving the following for a later time… Spending time in Hokkaido, spending time in Fukuoka, spending time in Okinawa and really, I can’t say in my heart I explored Japan if I haven’t visited the other three major islands of Hokkaido, Shikoku and Kyushu or the many other popular islands, may it be the Ryuku region (Okinawa) and also try some of these other smaller islands (Japan has 6,000 smaller islands, 430 which are inhabited), especially Hashima (Battleship =) Island.

I know part of the reason why is my comfort zone of being in the Kanto and Kansai region.  And as mentioned, everything I love is in these two regions, but I know I’ll have to get out of my comfort zone and while I know there is still a lot more to uncover in the Honshu Island, if I do return to Japan, it will be another island.

So, I wish everyone a great Spring Break and things should be back to normal on the blog around Golden Week…late April/early May!
