The One about AKIBA ICHI at Akihabara UDX

You are in Akihabara and you are hungry.  While Akihabara is known for its anime, manga, games, resin models, idol and maid cafe’s, niche cafe’s are not going to exactly fill one up.

While niche restaurants are great, you can find restaurants off the beaten path but the best location right near the main strip is Akihabara UDX, an office complex known for its many restaurants, shops, theater, offices and a parking lot.

For the most part, you’ll find Tully’s Coffee right on the main floor with seats outside, but once you go inside, you’ll see a plethora of restaurants available in the first three floors.

The area with the restaurants and shops at UDX is known as AKIBA ICHI.

While AKIBA ICHI is a great place to grab a filling meal (and also to use the restroom), there is so much more to Akihabara UDX.

The fourth floor features the UDX Gallery and UDX Theater, the fifth floor is a shop and office lobby, the sixth floor is the UDX Conference Room and Clinic Mall and the 7th floor to the 22nd floor are all office space.

The area is also a place to showcase the Christmas illumination during the holidays.  With the trees illuminated at night, AKIBA ICHI also has Christmas lights on top and a Christmas tree on the 2nd floor in the office area.

But if anything, aside for businesses that have office space and conferences and art or fashion galleries, Akihabara UDX is definitely the place to visit in Akihabara if you are very hungry!
