The original Franze & Evans London has been around since 2008 when it featured Italian classics reimagined for London living.
Serving salads, brunch, coffee and cakes in the heart of Shoreditch, the restaurant opened a sister deli in London and creating a Tokyo outpost since 2015.
The restaurant offers new modern British style food based on Italian cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine.
The location offers a choice of three deli items for Y1380, you can get two choice salads and one hot dish for Y1580, their inexpensive yet delicious hot dish Aranchini (meat or vegetable), the popular cake in London – Sweets Pavlova, a sweet banana salted caramel loaf for Y700, sweet red velvet cupcake for Y600, french toast, granola, croissant sandwich and more.
But even more special is during the Christmas time, when those who want something a bit more elegant than KFC, can stop by Franze & Evans for Christmas dinner.
For the most part, this is similar to most family restaurants in America, it can get busy, it’s a restaurant where you can kick back and talk but you’ll have to wait for your food and it takes a little while. The prices are also a little higher than other restaurants, so expect to pay about a Y1000-2000 more than you may be accustomed too.
But because it’s a popular place for people to dine and have a taste of London, just prepare because the place can get packed!
