The One about the Under Armour Men’s Valsetz Rts 1.5 Military and Tactical Boot

The latest shoe I am reviewing is the Under Armour Men’s Valsetz Rts 1.5 Military and Tactical Boot.

In terms of aesthetics, in some aspect it does look like a hiking boot and it looks perfect for those who want all black boots.

But the primary purpose for this boot is tactical, lightweight shoes that provides middle-foot comfort and traction.

These shoes are not for construction work nor are they hiking boots.  They are not waterproof and they are not protective boots for those who often carry heavy equipment.  They were designed for military and tactical uses and I can see people training with these boots because it is lightweight.

But I will say these are great boots for those who want something light and provides great traction thanks to its high traction rubber lug outsole.  The midsole uses an Ultralight Micro G EVA midsole which provides comfort and for the most part, with its lightweight TPU Shank, it provides really good mid-foot support. The UA ClutchFit is an ankel support system which provides support and features a TPU toe cap for added protection.

I also like how the sole adheres to the shoe really well, did a lot of tests to see if there would be splitting and the rubber lug outsole is really done well and is not cheaply made.

With that being said, I’m more of a person who looks for comfort towards the heel than the middle-foot, so in terms of comfort, I wished I had a a little more cushion towards the heel area.

The boots fit to size and were not difficult to put on or remove, nor was it difficult to tie.

They are great for traction and it’s lightness is no doubt a major interest for me, because I wouldn’t mind utilizing these shoes for going up trails, camping, paintball or even pairing them with black or blue jeans.

But the Under Armour Men’s Valsetz Rts 1.5 Military and Tactical Boot are really good boots that manages to provide comfort and some protection but manages to be very light.  So, they are definitely worth checking out!
